These Are the Heroes with the Passion to Transform Their Communities

Our Programs

At Imago Dei Wellness, our programs are designed to restore dignity, strengthen families, and equip communities with the knowledge, confidence, and compassion needed to support children facing adversity. Every offering is grounded in trauma‑informed practice, spiritual formation, and the belief that every person is made in the image of God—worthy of safety, belonging, and the opportunity to heal.

— Imago Dei Wellness Institute

The Trauma‑Informed Community  (TIC)Summit is a focused, half‑day training designed specifically for civil servants who carry the weight of community safety, public trust, and frontline decision‑making. This includes police officers, sheriffs, juvenile justice teams, city officials, social service workers, dispatchers, and other public‑facing professionals.

The Summit reframes public service through a trauma‑informed lens, helping leaders understand how childhood adversity, community violence, chronic stress, and generational trauma shape behavior, decision‑making, and community interactions. Instead of viewing trauma as a clinical issue, the Summit positions it as a public safety, public health, and community‑wellness priority.

TIE Trauma-Informed Educators

A trauma‑informed classroom is a learning environment built on safety, predictability, and connection, where teachers understand how trauma affects the brain and behavior and respond with compassion rather than punishment. It shifts the lens from “What’s wrong with this student?” to “What happened to them, and what do they need to feel safe?”

Imago Dei shifts the story from managing behavior to cultivating dignity. Primary educators are often trained to focus on compliance, classroom control, and academic outcomes. Imago Dei reframes the entire approach by reminding teachers that every child carries divine worth, a nervous system shaped by experience, and a story that deserves compassion rather than judgment.

— Whole Person Wellness & Community Support

We offer restorative gatherings and faith‑centered wellness practices that nurture emotional, spiritual, and relational health. These programs honor the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—and create space for grounding, reflection, and renewed hope.

Imago Dei Wellness exists to walk alongside families, educators, and communities with courage, compassion, and conviction. Our programs are more than services—they are pathways to healing, resilience, and restored dignity for every image‑bearer.

— Psychoeducational Groups for Parents

Our parent groups create a supportive, judgment‑free space where caregivers can learn, reflect, and grow. These groups help parents understand trauma, recognize how stress shows up in children, and develop practical tools to respond with wisdom and emotional attunement. Each session blends evidence‑based strategies with faith‑rooted encouragement, empowering parents to nurture resilience in their homes and within themselves.

TIM— Trauma InformedMinistry Workshops for Faith Leaders

Educators, faith leaders, and community workers are often the first to notice when a child is hurting. Our workshops equip them with the skills to recognize trauma responses, build emotionally safe environments, and support students with compassion and clarity. These trainings are interactive, accessible, and designed to strengthen the adults who shape the daily experiences of children.
